- Meter Assembly is subject to availability
- The renter shall ensure that there is no water leaking from the meter assembly or other related equipment
- The renter acknowledges that the meter assembly is the property of the Sudbury Water District and therefor may only be connected/relocated/removed by Sudbury Water District authorized personnel
- The renter acknowledges that the meter assembly is the property of the Sudbury Water District and therefor may only be connected/relocated/removed by Sudbury Water District authorized personnel
- In the event of a drought advisory the Sudbury Water District reserves the right to recall/return/deny a meter assembly
- No assembly shall be used when temperatures fall below 35° F. Temperatures below 35° F warrants immediate removal of the assembly whereas the renter agrees to take and store the assembly for safe keeping
- The renter accepts all financial responsibility for the assembly, including any and all costs or replacement costs associated with loss or damages sustained to the assembly at or during the rental period, including theft

Fiber optic installation within a specific defined boundary
Utility work within a specific defined boundary
New subdivision water main testing
Demolition
Dust control
Water main testing
Special Events
Street Sweeping
BANNED USES:
Unmetered withdraw of water from hydrant
Tampering with a meter assembly
Mounting meter assembly on a vehicle
Withdraw of water for the purpose of resale
Sudbury Water District reserves the right to disconnect/confiscate the meter assembly or any other related equipment at an time or interrupt service should it be determined the renter has not complied with the terms of this agreement or that operation of a hydrant, meter assembly or other related equipment constitutes a threat to public health or safety, the environment, the operation of the public water system, or contamination of the public water supply. In the event a hydrant meter assembly application is revoked by Sudbury Water District because of a renter’s violation of its terms the renter shall not be entitled to a refund or credit for fees paid or security deposits made. The renter shall be liable for any and all damages and or fines resulting from the operation and use of the Sudbury Water District public water supply and for violations or the terms of the application. The renter hereby agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Sudbury Water District, its elected officials, employees, officers, directors and representatives of Sudbury Water District, individually or collectively, from and against any and all costs, claims, damages, fees, fines, penalties, proceedings, actions, causes or action, liability and suites of any kind or nature, including but not limiting to, person or bodily injury, death and property damage, made upon Sudbury Water District directly or indirectly arising out of resulting from or related to the renters activities under the application including any acts omission of the renter, any agent, officer, director, representative, employee, consultants or subcontractor of the renter.
A $1,000 fine shall be imposed if an individual or corporate entity obtains water directly from a hydrant without a meter/backflow assembly being provide.
